As we resume our flights‚ please take note of the following updates:


We have temporarily revised our flight schedules to enable us to resume operations in anticipation to getting back to full operations. As we continue to evaluate the changes in the travel environment and passenger demand‚ we will continue to align our operations as we keep you informed with the latest operational updates.

AMBOSELI‚ TSAVO‚ and LAIKIPIA flights will only operate one frequency per day in the morning (AM flights). We can operate the PM services on request with a minimum requirement of 2 people per landing.

LAIKIPIA- MARA flights are suspended‚ and passengers booked on this service will be routed through Wilson airport to connect from Laikipia- Wilson -Mara.

NANYUKI flights will only serve Kamok and Nanyuki airstrips. Loisaba and Lewa airstrips are temporarily suspended until camps re-open.

MARA–MOMBASA/DIANI flights are cancelled until 30th June 2021 when the flights will resume.

KISUMU  flights operate on Mondays‚ Fridays‚ Saturdays‚ and Sundays.

DIANI‚ VIPINGO - We have added a new morning service and now operates TWICE daily.

MALINDI - Operates daily with an additional flight on Monday‚ Friday‚ and Saturday.

LAMU -  Flights operate daily.

ZANZIBAR & KILIMANJARO flights are suspended until further notice. This is as a result of the ongoing diplomatic impasse between Kenya and Tanzania.

LODWAR operations cancelled until further notice.


Airstrip Restrictions

We have revised minimum passenger landing restrictions for some safari destinations airstrips to the following:- 

  • Amboseli / Laikipia - Minimum of 2 pax per airstrip.
  • Tsavo Service  - Minimum of 2 pax per airstrip
  • Mara strips: Some airstrips – Minimum 2 pax per airstrip
  • Mara Ngerende  – Services suspended‚ and passengers are advised to use alternative airstrips.

Suspended Airstrips

KITALE and MIGORI airstrips have been closed for renovations by the Kenya Airports Authority until December 2021. All services are therefore suspended.

MIGORI flights: Existing bookings will be re-routed via our Mara- Wilson- Kilimanjaro services. Fare difference will be applicable.


We have introduced online-check-in for all our flights and do encourage passengers to utilize this functionality to save time at check-in and minimize person-to-person contact.

Online Check-in is open 18-hours prior to your departure time and closes 2-hours before takeoff time.  Pax are still requested to report at our check-in desks for document verification and luggage acceptance. Our check-in times have remained the same as below. 

  • Nairobi (Wilson) - 60 minutes
  • Kilimanjaro Airport– 60 minutes
  • Lamu/ Malindi/Kisumu– 60 minutes
  • Zanzibar - 90 minutes
  • Safari Destinations - 30 minutes

Check-in counters close 30 minutes to departure time and pax will not be allowed to check-in even if they have checked-in online.


In order to ensure that you plan your trip well in advance and to minimize contact at the airport‚ we advise passengers who require extra baggage above the free baggage allowance to purchase excess baggage. Advance purchase of excess baggage is permitted up to 72 hours before departure. Options available are:-

FREE baggage allowance for each passenger‚ inclusive of hand baggage and cameras‚ is 15Kgs to our safari destinations and 20Kgs to Zanzibar‚ Malindi‚ Vipingo‚ Diani and Kisumu. Infants under 2 years are not entitled to baggage allowance.
